" Your hospitality was wonderful - we truly felt at home and welcome. The horses were wonderful. To ride with a touchy back is always an exercise of courage, because if a horse should suddenly startle and bolt, it could give its rider a bad wrenching. Your steady and gentle mounts inspired trust and confidence, and were a pleasure to ride. Lucy was wonderful to me - she even knew I was "conflicted" about trying a gallop, and took the decision into her own hands when she felt the confidence of my ample but following seat. I am grateful to her for giving me that "nudge." It was glorious to be able to again have that freedom of rushing speed on the back of a trusted horse.
The countryside - oh my! That valley and the mountain ridge are so gloriously beautiful. I enjoyed it very much, and what a privilege to see the landscape slowly unfold before me as we rode. Touring God's beautiful creation is much better on horseback than from any other mode of travel. I had time to appreciate the beauty and the freedom of going farther than I can go on foot.
Thank you again and again from the bottom of my heart. We had a glorious time that will be remembered all our lives. We hope to come again - and perhaps add Katie's dad to the mix - when she needs a break from her hard work in Poland."
