HORSE AGILITY with Ellen cochrane

Come and meet Ellen and learn from one of the best at our Horse Agility course on the 9th April to the 12th April.

Ellen Cochrane is a professional Equine Trainer and Horse Agility Accredited Trainer. Ellen became Horse Agility World Champion and Liberty Trophy World Champion in 2022 and has since retired from competing to take a position within the International Horse Agility as the main competition judge. Ellen works using subtle body language and positive reinforcement to improve communication between equine and handler. Her aim is to promote a kinder way of handling in the equine world. Course Price 550 €

  • Includes 2 day course with use of horse

About Horse Agility

Horse Agility is a fantastic, fun sport which heavily focuses on good horsemanship and the relationship between human and equine. In Horse Agility you navigate a series of obstacles and manoeuvres working as a partnership with your equine.
On this course you will learn all about the different obstacles, how to complete them correctly and how to teach and guide the horse. You will learn how to communicate with the horse you are working with, develop good leading and groundwork skills and work up to completing a full course. All levels of experience welcome and catered for; whether this is something completely new to try or whether you compete in Horse Agility already and are looking to improve your scores – and everyone in between! The sessions will be fun and relaxed for both horse and human with an approachable, knowledgeable trainer. Come along for an enjoyable time of Horse Agility in a stunning location with rescue horses – what’s not to like!

Full Course Information

All participants should arrive by the 9th April in time for welcome dinner, 10th and 11th are the course days with time to enjoy facilities, departing on the 12th.
You can arrive early or stay on after the course for a longer relaxing holiday with bitless and barefoot riding in the stunning mountain trails.
Extra nights with meals = 80 euros if sharing a room or 130 euros if single room .All dietary requirements catered for including vegan, just tell us what you like to eat *There is likely to be a lot of interest in this course and numbers are limited. For this reason we would also prefer people to share accommodation if at all possible . Please ask if you prefer not to share a room and we will see what we can do – there would be a single supplement.
 

Prices for Add ons

Horse Riding: 30€ per hour.

Extra nights full board: 80€ shared room or 130€ single room
